Listen to this episode My crew and I were set to rendezvous with other Starfleet Academy cadets (other students) at Ragwat 6 to attend a birthday party. My anxiety was quite high because I hadn't presented as female to my oldest son's middle school friends. I wasn't worried as much about what they'd think ofContinue reading "Captain’s Log Stardate 06122021"
Captain’s Log Stardate 06102021
Listen to this episode Our ship was in orbit around Nigel 3 when Starfleet redirected us to the Oakton cluster (a nearby park). Starfleet intelligence received word about a device that could supersize food. Such an item could make a significant impact on hunger around the galaxy. As we arrived to the Oakton cluster toContinue reading "Captain’s Log Stardate 06102021"
Captain’s Log Stardate 06082021
Listen to this episode Our shuttlecraft was passing through the Landis system when an unseen vessel insisted that we were trespassing in their space. We tried to negotiate with them when they suddenly fired a photon torpedo at our shuttlecraft. Ensign Noah attempted to take evasive maneuvers but the torpedo damaged our dilithium crystal chamberContinue reading "Captain’s Log Stardate 06082021"
Captain’s log Supplemental
Listen to this episode The ship continues in orbit around Earth though Starfleet has an assignment pending for us later today that will allow for us to once again explore the galaxy as the interstellar radiation (extreme temperatures) is finally set to wane. I will need to balance my time closely as I'm also setContinue reading "Captain’s log Supplemental"
Captain’s log Stardate 06052021
Listen to this episode The intense interstellar radiation (heat) continues to prevent me and the crew from going on away missions. They seem to be content spending their time on the holodeck (computer/smartphone). I feel a bit stir-crazy. Being confined to the ship reminds me of the worse days of the galactic plague (covid)..I missContinue reading "Captain’s log Stardate 06052021"
Captain’s Log Stardate 06022021
Listen to this episode The last few days the crew and I haven't been on any away mission due to inhospitable conditions outside our ship. Our shields (air conditioner) have held off the intense interstellar radiation (triple digit weather) but has limited our ability to explore the quadrant. I'm glad that Starfleet Academy (the school)Continue reading "Captain’s Log Stardate 06022021"
Captain’s Log Stardate 05302021
Listen to this episode Our ship was on course to the Roselyn cluster when my science officer detected an unusual gravitational distortion on our long range sensors. Lieutenant Tino looked through the scope in order to determine what was causing the distortion. Upon closer inspection, my officer discovered that an unknown vessel was responsible forContinue reading "Captain’s Log Stardate 05302021"
Captain’s Personal Log
Listen to this episode I always aspired to be in the captain's chair as a cadet but now that I'm here, I sometimes question the zeal which lead me here. The burden of command weighs heavily today as I consider a number of options before me. No longer do my decisions only affect me butContinue reading "Captain’s Personal Log"
Captain’s Log Stardate 05242021.4
Listen to this episode Upon entering my ready room, I found a priority one subspace transmission from Starfleet command. My first officer and I were ordered to meet a section 31 operative in the Natoma sector on the planet of Bassbol 7. Curiously, we were commanded to take a shuttlecraft down to the surface insteadContinue reading "Captain’s Log Stardate 05242021.4"
Captain’s Log Stardate 05222021.2
Listen to this episode As captain of our ship, I typically try to give my crew and I ample time to rest so that when the duties that come with being an officer arise, we are ready to undertake our responsibilities. The plan for today was to leave the ship in orbit over Earth, letContinue reading "Captain’s Log Stardate 05222021.2"
